The boat will standard be delivered in completely class legal configuration. However, with the multifunctional daggerboard cases you have the possibility to switch to curved daggerboards, providing a semi-foiling performance. If you want to take your F16 even further, different options are available: carbon mast, boom, spinnaker pole, tiller tie bar and even DS sails. Although the F16 class regulations do not allow a deck sweeper yet, Nacra already has it available for you.

NACRA 16 C Foil

Following the evolution of the Olympic Nacra 17 Class, Nacra Sailing introduces the full foiling Nacra 15 FCS multihull. The sail plan is the same as the original Nacra 15, the difference is the FCS foiling package being ‘plug and play’. Use it as part of a new boat package, or as an additional option for existing Nacra 15 owners. Nacra 15 FCS is the ultimate sailing experience.

NACRA 16 Convertible

The F16 Convertible option provides you with the best of both worlds and comes with both class legal daggerboards as well as C boards, allowing you to convert your catamaran for class racing or week-end speed runs.

NACRA F16 ONE

Answering the increasing popularity of single-handed sailing, Nacra Sailing is proud to present the Nacra F16 ONE, a single-handed version of the Nacra F16. The key difference is the sail configuration with the absence of the jib sail and related hardware. The F16 ONE is available in standard, C foil, or convertible configurations. Single-handed sailing is independent, can be highly competitive and is so much fun.

F16 Class

The F16 class builds a community for competitive and social racers. The aim of the class is to work closely with the other formula classes to create a great environment for all sailors. The Formula 16 class is both an open class (handicap) racer as well as a class racer. Besides the competitive sailing, recreational sailing is an important part of the class. These three scenes complement each other fully and none interferes with the full exploitation of another. The F16 class is looking forward to welcome new F16 sailors in their community, whatever kind of sailor you are.
